21Q

Professional development that builds judgment — one question at a time.

How a 21Q case works

  1. 1

Discovery. Interview an in-character source by asking questions. They reveal only what you ask about — so the quality of your questions is the skill being measured.

  2. 2

Analysis. Work the problem using what you uncovered.

  3. 3

Recommendation. Commit to a clear, defensible call.

Where you’ll begin

You’ll start with Discovery. You play an external investment consultant evaluating the endowment of the Community Foundation of Toronto. Your job is to interview Bruce Johnson, a member of the Foundation’s Investment Committee — you have up to 21 questions to uncover what you need.

All three phases run in this session. Structured feedback and verified PD hours are coming soon.
